ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis FC opened its 2016 training camp on Wednesday, February 17. The team will train a total of five sessions before departing for Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 20 for a preseason camp hosted by the Charleston Battery. Training sessions include the aforementioned practice on Feb. 17, two sessions at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, an 11:00 a.m. session on Friday and a 10:00 a.m. session Saturday morning. All training is held at the St. Louis Scott Gallagher soccer complex in Collinsville, Illinois while restoration work continues at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.
There are currently 11 players on the training camp roster joining the group of signed players: DMF Tariq Akeel, OB Jake Bond, CB Nick Caruso, GK Sean Clancy, DMF Tyler David, WMF Seth Rudolph, and CB Jayeton Teh. Four St. Louis Scott Gallagher Academy players are also currently training with the first team squad: DMF Aaron Arreola, WMF Wan Kuzain, F Clayton Pearson, and OB/CB Aedan Stanley.
