ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis FC announced today it will be beginning its preseason in St. Louis on February 17th before traveling to Charleston, South Carolina from February 20 – 29. STLFC will be playing three games while in South Carolina, highlighted by a match against the Charleston Battery from the USL’s Eastern Conference.
“The club is excited to return to Charleston this year and compete against some quality competition.” said Saint Louis FC General Manager Jeremy Alumbaugh. “The Battery showed us great hospitality last year during our league game and we’re looking forward to returning and preparing for the 2016 campaign in warmer weather against a classy organization.”
The game against Charleston is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27 at MUSC Health Stadium. The remainder of Saint Louis FC’s preseason schedule, including open training sessions and games, will be announced next week.
