Saint Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC has announced a partnership with El Hispano Newspaper and La Ke Buena Radio for the 2017 season.
"We're excited about the partnership of STLFC with El Hispano Newspaper and La Ke Buena Radio,” said Kyle Garcia, La Ke Buena Radio Marketing Director. “Soccer is huge internationally and most of the Hispanic community follows the sport. Like my father Tony Garcia says, ‘It's our religion!’ We feel that lines up with what STLFC has said before, ‘It’s in our History, It’s in our Blood.’ To bring play-by-play broadcasting for soccer games to the St. Louis community, and to provide it in Spanish, speaks volumes to that saying.”
La Ke Buena broadcasts on 1510 AM and will be covering a select number of Saint Louis FC games this upcoming season.
“We are proud to partner with La Ke Buena Radio which allows us to enhance the outreach with our Hispanic fan base and bring new fans to the club,” said Patrick Barry, STLFC President. “We are especially excited to partner with a local broadcaster that recognizes the value of connecting to the community and ultimately bringing soccer fans from all backgrounds together.”
“We can see STLFC is approaching the future of soccer in St. Louis the right way,” added Garcia. “They care about the future of their fans, they care about the community, and that attitude applies the same approach we strive for in the Hispanic community.”
