St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC has announced the addition of Milan Petosevic, Nick Radosavljevic, and Denis Ahmetovic for the 2017 season, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation.
Petosevic was born in Serbia and most recently played for Favoritner AC in Austria. He plays as a striker and scored 7 goals in 15 appearances last season.
“Milan adds a dimension to our team of a strong presence in the final third,” said STLFC General Manager, Jeremy Alumbaugh. “His work-rate and energy to improve are easy to see when you watch him play.”
Radosavljevic was born in Liverpool, England, the son of Predrag “Preki” Radosavljevic. He trained with the Chivas USA Academy in California before playing at Catawba College in North Carolina as a midfielder. He went on to play for American River College and then Chico State in California before graduating in 2016.
“Nick is another player that is comfortable on the ball and will bring an honest approach every day in training,” added Alumbaugh.
Ahmetovic was also born in Serbia and most recently played for Ubon UMT United in the Thailand first division as a midfielder. He came through the youth ranks of FK BSK Borca in the Serbian first division before joining the senior side from 2013-2015, scoring 2 goals over 25 appearances during that time.
“Denis is a quality young player that is comfortable in any of the midfield positions,” said Alumbaugh. “He has a passion for goal and strikes a very good ball. He will put in work on both sides of the ball.”
