St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC has announced the return of defender Patrick Doody on loan from the Chicago Fire. He will join the team today and is eligible for selection in Saturday's match against the Charleston Battery.
Doody was born in Naperville, Illinois and played for the Chicago Fire Academy before attending Indiana University where he made 86 appearances and contributed six goals and 12 assists during four years that included an NCAA National Championship in 2012. He was signed as a Homegrown Player by the Chicago Fire in 2014 and joined Saint Louis FC on loan during the inaugural 2015 season where he made 21 appearances and assisted on four goals. Doody returned to Saint Louis FC during the 2016 season and made 12 appearances with two goals during the campaign.
