St. Louis, MO – St. Louis Scott Gallagher Academy and Saint Louis FC U-23 players Jack Maher and Aeden Stanley have been called into the U-18 U.S. Men’s National Team camp from January 23rd to January 30th at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.
The U-18 USMNT head coach, Omid Namazi, has called upon 28 youth players to compete over the next week and supplement player development outside of their club environment. The players called into the camp will play a couple games against the U-17 National Team players currently in the residency program at IMG Academy. The program is looking to identify the core group of players for the 2017 calendar year in the lead-up to the Slovakia Cup in April.
Maher of the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Illinois Academy Program and Stanley of the SLSG Missouri Academy Program were called into the United States Youth National Team Camp back in November. Both players also featured in the Saint Louis FC U-18 Academy match against the U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team on October 8th at the World Wide Soccer Park.
