USL Week 3 Preview: Saint Louis FC v. New York Red Bulls II

St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC will face New York Red Bulls II at Toyota Stadium this Saturday, April 8th at 7:30 p.m. in Week 3 of the USL season.

Saint Louis FC (1-0-1, 4pts) comes off a dramatic 3-2 victory against Ottawa Fury FC in the home opener last weekend in front of 5,566 at Toyota Stadium. Forward Christian Volesky, who was named the USL Player of the Week, led the team with a goal and an assist in the first ten minutes last weekend. Head Coach Preki looks to extend the side's unbeaten run against the reigning champions who won both match-ups in the inaugural 2015 season.

New York Red Bulls II (1-1-1, 4pts) arrive to St. Louis after falling 1-0 to Charleston at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night. Justin Bilyeu, St. Louis native and SIUE graduate, is expected to travel with the team and play against his former teammates Christian Volesky and Austin Ledbetter. Bilyeu was drafted in the first-round of the 2016 MLS Draft by New York and has made four professional appearances for the first-team.
