St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC will face FC Cincinnati away at Nippert Stadium this Saturday, April 15th at 6:00 p.m. CT in Week 4 of the USL season.
Saint Louis FC (3-0-1, 10pts) comes off a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds in midweek and hope to continue their undefeated start to the season. Christian Volesky will look to extend his goal streak after scoring in each of the previous three matches, including the game-winner on Wednesday night. Fellow-striker Jose Angulo also made it two goals in two games, while defender Wes Charpie was named Man of the Match after his two-assist performance on Wednesday.
FC Cincinnati (1-2-0, 3pts) will look to return to winning ways after a defeat to Bethlehem Steel FC last Sunday. The club finished third place in the Eastern Conference last year in their inaugural season, and is led by first-year Head Coach Alan Koch. They will be without veteran midfielder Paul Nicholson, who is serving a one-game ban after his red card against Bethlehem Steel FC. FC Cincinnati took the series last season as they won 2-1 in both the home and away fixtures.
