LAST TIME OUT:

Saint Louis FC traveled to ONEOK Field to capture a 5-2 victory over its conference rival, the Tulsa Roughnecks. Tulsa played a man down for most the game, allowing Saint Louis four goals in the 2nd half.

Of the five goals, four came from Irvin Herrera. He scored the first goal of the game, during the 9th minute.  Shortly after, during the 17th minute, a straight red card was issued to Tulsa's Davoren for a hard tackle on Drew Conner.

At the half, Tulsa was up 2-1. In the 52nd minute, Mike Ambersley assisted on a second Herrera goal, tie-ing the score. Saint Louis continued to pressure the 10 man Tulsa team, and it wasn't long before Jamiel Hardware found Herrera to complete a hat trick for his third goal of the night. A few minutes later, Herrera scored again, putting the score at 4-2.

James Musa was able to punch in a goal in the 82nd minute to end the scoring for the evening.

THE OPPONENT:

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 are coming off of a 3-1 victory against the Portland Timbers 2 at Providence Park.

Whitecaps Captain, Kyle Greig, opened the scoring with his eighth goal of the season; good for second in the USL standings. Former Timbers 2 winger Fatawu Safiu and 21-year-old Residency graduate Jordan Haynes also picked up goals.

It was the fourth road win of the season for the young team.

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 is in its second season since forming in 2015. The 'Caps are coached by Alan Koch, who is a South African and Canadian soccer coach. Koch is a former South African youth national team player, professional player and coach.
