Saint Louis FC are pleased to announce the signing of 25 year old midfielder Jason Plumhoff on loan from Jacksonville Armada FC of the NASL.
Plumhoff's move to STLFC will be a return to the USL for the midfielder, who made 22 appearances for Harrisburg City Islanders, scoring a club-best 10 goals during the 2015 season.
After the 2015 season Jason completed a move to FC Edmonton of the NASL where he made 6 appearances (3 starts) and scored 1 goal during the club's Spring 2016 NASL campaign. On July 6th, 2016 Plumhoff was traded from Edmonton to Jacksonville Armada where he had made 5 appearances (3 starts) during the 2016 Fall Season before joining Saint Louis FC.
"Jason is a player that we obviously know from his time in the USL with Harrisburg. But also a player that we've been able to track and monitor during the 2016 season", said General Manager Jeremy Alumbaugh on the signing. "We're excited to add him to the team as he brings a hunger for goals and a willingness to stretch a defense that will help us as we continue to push forward."
Plumhoff's addition to Saint Louis FC is another aggressive move by the club in hopes of making a push for the 2016 USL Playoffs.
"I'm just looking forward to playing in front of these great fans and I hope everyone comes out and supports us on our playoff push. It starts tomorrow against San Antonio", said Plumhoff.
Jason's move has been cleared by the USL and USSF and he will be available for selection as early as tomorrow's USL match vs. San Antonio. For ticket information go to SaintLouisFC.com or call 636-680-0997
